It Happens

Like the clay that hardens...

the leaf that becomes brittle...

the rubber band that cracks and breaks...

age happens.

Boy, it sure snuck up on me.  I really gotta go out and exercise... after I finish this blog.

A Continuation from Wrappers...

Though I bemoan the amount of excessive packaging that fill our landfills, I am still a sucker for pretty wrappers.

Often, what's inside doesn't matter as much....

And maybe all this sparkles will rub off on me too...

MUST I choose between the expensive 'I am cool' chic and the more frugal
'I don't give a damn'...

Though I have gotten better in recognizing fake food from real food
(more packaging = pretend food)...

What do I do when they start bottling tap water and tell me that their water is better than mine?  I simply carry my own water in stainless steel bottles and stay away from those nasty disposable plastic ones.  That is, unless when they come in those emerald green glass bottles with 'San Pellegrino' labels on them. I stagger home with a case of it in my arms - remembering fondly the sultry days of my youth in Italy.
Yeah.

Wrappers

Oliver's wad of tissue

The missing refrigerator magnets

I guess there is something about wrapping and unwrapping ... about surprises ... about hiding and revealing - that we find too irristible.

Introducing our Bunny Family

Why a bunny family?  Upon assessing our family characteristics, which include a bit of cowardice (except when cornered), perpetual grazing, general mild-manners, and odd comical nature of our appearance, I decided that bunnies fit us pretty well.
